TappIT is founded by Heikki Vilkkinen. Company is private own limited company in Finland.

Heikki Vilkkinen has worked over 15 year in Flexibles packaging industry information technology. Heikki started at software supplier building tailored ERP application for AHLSTROM packaging division.

1990 he take position at AHLSTROM Eurapak as System Analyst.

1996 AHLSTROM and Åkerlund & Rausing merged and Heikki move Å&R Group IT as system architect responsibility to develop ERP and Manufacturing systems for group and support ERP roll out.

2001 Å&R Group, Danisco Flexibles and AMCOR Flexible merged Heikki move AMCOR Flexibles group IT responsibility IT infrastructure integration of AMCOR (WAN, Mail, Internet,..)

2002 Heikki was moved to Development Architect in AMCOR Group IT responsible to IT harmonization and some projects like B2B/extranet, meta directory, ...

Past 10 year Heikki has work in position of responsibility of group international operations. In this work Heikki has involved several merge/acquisition project in Europe and US.
